Primavera Sound has announced the full line-up for 2023, doubling in Madrid this year in addition to the usual Barcelona edition. The two festivals split the bill (with over 200 names) in their entirety for two weekends that promise to be unmissable.
Among the headliners, the return of Blur and Depeche Mode stand out, as well as a new European mission from Kendrick Lamar. There will be room for house favorite Rosalía, but also for international pop from Halsey and hitmaker Calvin Harris. But as always, Primavera is a festival that hides its treasures in a very deep program where you can easily switch between genres. And so here is the return of Le Tigre, the American dance-punk band, the 90’s references of the new dancefloor phenomenon Fred Again…, the art of Fka Twigs, the other queen of the house, Bad Gyal, the Moldy Peaches reunion. Godfathers of twee folk, Bad Religion’s metal, Charlotte De Witte’s techno and Caroline Polacheck’s magical pop. And still Baby Keem, Darkside, Skrillex, St. Vincent., Ghost, The War On Drugs and many others. For Italy, on the other hand, the name Måneskin tops the bill, with live performances scheduled for the two Sundays of the festival.
Primavera Sound will be held from June 1st to 3rd at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona and from June 8th to 10th at the Ciudad del Rock in Arganda del Rey in Madrid.
