Kyiv, trying to steal Banksy mural in Gostomel, arrested world

A group of people have tried to steal a mural by British artist Banksy from a building hit by Russian bombing in Gostomel, Kyiv district. The police said they had arrested those responsible, the BBC reported.
The mural depicting a woman in a gas mask was not damaged, regional governor Oleksiy Kuleba said. “After all, these pictures are symbols of our fight against the enemy,” he said, “they are stories of the support and solidarity of the entire civilized world with Ukraine’s victory.”
Police have released images of the yellow wall at Gostomel, with a large patch cut down to the brickwork.
Banksy last month released a video of his Ukrainian artwork showing people going about their daily activities on top of bomb-damaged buildings in Ukraine.
