Father Isaac Achi, of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in KafinKoro, Paikoro Region, Nigeria, died after being charred after the vicarage where he slept was attacked.
A group of intruders entered the premises early Sunday (15) and tried to break down the door to get into the house. Since they could not enter the house, they set it on fire from the outside.

Fathers Isaac Achi and another priest named Collins were on the property.
Collins still made it out of the vicarage alive but was injured in his back and is recovering in hospital.
Achi wasn’t so lucky and died on the spot.
The police are investigating the case, but have not been able to arrest any of the attackers.
