CF Montreal defender Gabriele Corbo was voted into the Major League Soccer (MLS) All-Star Team of the Week on Monday.

This is the first time in his career that the 22-year-old has received this honor. The full-back was one of the starters for the Montreal club in Saturday night’s 1-0 win against DC United at the Stade Saputo. Corbo completed 91.8% of the passes he attempted during this clash.
The Italian has made 13 appearances in 2022, including 12 as a starter. He is part of the CF Montreal organization and was loaned out by Bologna FC in 1909.
Head coach Wilfried Nancy’s side end their regular season with a visit to Inter Miami CF on Sunday. CF Montreal can still hope to complete their schedule with first place in the Eastern Conference.
