A Coyotes publication about Juraj Slafkovsky that has aged very poorly

On November 2nd, the Arizona Coyotes defeated the Montreal Canadiens 3-2 in a matchup that notably featured the first (Juraj Slafkovsky) and third (Logan Cooley) picks from the 2022 amateur auction.

During that encounter, Cooley had an assist on the winning goal while Slafkovsky was ruled out. The Coyotes' social media manager then posted this post on Twitter:

However, since that famous game, the Habs' selection has proven to be much better than that of the Arizona team, with 26 points, including 11 goals, in 43 games, while Cooley himself scored 17 points, including five goals, in 41 matches.

And when you look at the numbers since Slafkovsky joined the team last December along with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield, the gap between the two players is even greater.

In fact, the 19-year-old Slovakian has collected 19 points, including nine goals, in his last 22 games, which is almost an average of one point per match.

The 19-year-old American now has eight points, including three goals, in 20 games.

This is a release that is showing its age very badly…
