Actress Anne Heche was involved in a car accident in Los Angeles, United States, on Friday afternoon (5). She was taken to a regional hospital and is intubated with burns all over her body, according to TMZ. The actress pulled her car, a blue Mini Cooper, into the garage of an apartment complex around noon.
Residents of the building that hit the garage tried to help Heche out of the vehicle. However, the actress refused to help, accelerated backwards and drove away at high speed. Witnesses who were near the crash site reported that Anne crashed into a house near the apartment complex. The collision caused a violent fire that consumed affected property as well as the car the artist was in.

Heche was rescued by local firefighters and taken to a hospital by ambulance. She was intubated and apparently suffered severe burns all over her body. In some photos, Anne appears in her car just before the accident that caused the fire, where a bottle with a red cap can be seen. According to TMZ, it appears to be a container for alcoholic beverages. However, due to the actress’ health condition, the website said medical teams have not yet been able to perform the tests that could confirm whether she was using alcohol or another substance.
