Serbia voted on Tuesday. Almost 5,500 eligible voters were called to vote at eight polling stations where the Central Election Commission declared the results of the December 17 parliamentary elections invalid. There was already a partial repeat of the election in 35 polling stations on December 30th.

However, the absolute majority of mandates of President Aleksandar Vučić's “Serbian Progressive Party” (SNS) does not affect this. In the parliamentary elections, a good 48 percent of those eligible to vote voted for the SNS, which was already in power. The opposition alliance “Serbia Against Violence” received just under 24 percent.
