ALBA TCP condemned the Israeli military operation in the Gaza Strip

The Latin American and Caribbean Integration Mechanism noted on its Twitter account that the attacks against “the Palestinian fraternal people” left a death toll.

“We insist on peace and the necessary respect for international law and the Charter of the United Nations,” affirmed the ALBA-TCP Executive Secretariat.

Palestinian Health Ministry sources said that on the fourth day of shelling and raids in the Gaza Strip, at least 30 people were killed and another 90 injured by shrapnel from the occupying Israeli forces.

They stated that among the deceased were six children and three women, while out of the total number of those injured, more than thirty were minors.

According to the Wafa agency, more than 143 Palestinians have been killed by the Tel Aviv army and Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip since early 2023, including 26 children and six women.

United Nations Deputy Spokesman Farhan Haq and the Palestinian authorities this Friday warned of a humanitarian catastrophe in this latest area, where the border crossings that guarantee the entry of food, medicine and other essential supplies have been closed.

Haq condemned Israel’s ban on the planned entry of about 600 trucks loaded with basic goods, food, medical supplies and fuel.
