As for his legal troubles, Alec has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing in relation to Hutchin’s death, insisting Deputy Director Dave Halls said he was handed a ‘cold’ gun – meaning it was unloaded and safe.
The actor previously insisted he didn’t pull the trigger when Hutchins was shot, but the FBI tested the gun and later issued a report concluding that it wouldn’t have fired if someone hadn’t pulled the trigger.
