Alicia Moffet shone on the MTelus stage on Thursday night to officially kick off her first-ever indoor tour of her career.
The 24-year-old singer took the stage at the Montreal venue just after 9pm, where an overexcited and already conquered audience seethed with impatience.
In a glowing halo, the singer-songwriter presented a good part of her repertoire there, particularly tracks from her most recent EP, Intertwine, released in March 2022, such as Your Knife, which opened the show, and Run to you “, saved for the last part of the concert.

The young singer also performed the essentials from her debut album Billie Ave (2020), including Take Control, Open Up – a song she came to love again by playing it live – and Lullaby. She showcases projects she is working or has worked on, including the Drake cover Hold On, We’re Going Home. A project done with Amazon Music, which she sang in a duet with Pelch. It was the latter who warmed the room while he waited for the starlet to arrive.
She also debuted her new Hasn’t Tried, in which she discusses her breakup with her daughter’s father, who was at the mercy of a lot of ink at the time.

If the singer was a little shaken by the emotions of finding herself a second time in her career at MTelus on the first few songs, she quickly found calm on stage, which she lived to the full throughout the evening, even taking the time to do so to do a TikTok with the crowd on “Flowers” by Milley Cyrus. The singer was also warm and chatty with her audience throughout her many remarks, allowing herself to laugh with them and explaining certain segments.
Towards the end of her concert, the performer had also planned a number in which she repeated some of her most popular “covers” on YouTube at the beginning of her career. A winning segment, where the crowd gathered at MTelus on Thursday night, was very loud, singing all the songs played at the top of their lungs.

As well as Zach Zoya, the ex-The Voice contestant on the Addicted track also received a visit from FouKi, with whom she took the title “Ciel” – to the delight of fans waving their phones to capture the performance, Ryland James and Jamie Fine, with whom she performed a duet on the track “Never Wanted This”.
On stage, the singer was joined by her musicians and longtime friends Oliver Savoie-Campeau on drums, Vincent Gendron and Maxime Lévesque on guitars and bass guitar, conducted by Gabriel Thibault.
