The former Love Island star announced the birth of Bambi last month, before revealing they had named their girl Bambi – which was met with mixed reactions.

In a video shared on her YouTube channel last week, Molly-Mae reacted to the reaction the name received.

She remarked, “I was brought back down to earth very quickly, how evil this world can be.”

She also shared how she was initially apprehensive about revealing the name and was stunned by the feedback before being forced to turn off Instagram comments.

Despite the negativity, the star gushed about how much she loved the nickname, revealing that it was “beautiful” and “unique” – although the influencer has loved the name for years.

She explained: “The name reveal was a tough day for me. I have disabled Instagram comments for this post. I was brought down to earth very quickly as to how evil this world can be.

“Because we literally knew our first girl’s name would be Bambi, we had become so used to the idea that that would be her name, and for us it wasn’t that unusual anymore.”
