An English-Canadian delivers a poignant statement about Karl Tremblay and prostate cancer – Le Sac de Chips

An Anglo-Canadian YouTuber shared in a video how the announcement of Karl Tremblay's death brought him back to painful memories.

Bruce MacNeil is certainly not the most popular YouTuber (he only has 199 subscribers), but from a Quebec perspective his channel can seem fascinating.

MacNeil talks about his moods and expresses his opinions on society, economics and politics, usually dressed in a hunting shirt, in front of a green board set up in his forest.

Not only does he often deal with the topic of electric cars (his favorite topic), but he also occasionally speaks of his admiration for a well-known personality.

René Lévesque and Don Cherry are both famous and diametrically opposed personalities who were entitled to their little concert of praise on his channel.

But in the video that interests us, the kind gentleman pulls out his Sunday French to tell us how upset he was by the death of Karl Tremblay of the Cowboys Fringants, a musical group he discovered last summer to his great regret.

MacNeil explains that he also suffered from prostate cancer at the same age as Tremblay (who he calls “Monsieur Karl” throughout the video) and that he is very lucky to be alive.

Visibly very moved, he implores all men over the age of 40 to go to the doctor and have their prostate examined.

After praising Canada's public health system, he offered his condolences to Tremblay's family and the Cowboys Fringants before concluding his video in a very touching way.

He actually translated the lyrics of the song Ici bas, which he recites like a poem…

In short, we thank her for her beautiful and moving approach and invite you to discover her YouTube channel.
