Andy Cohen reveals his son Ben wants ‘another dad’ in his family: ‘I was surprised!’

Andy Cohen opened up about his eldest child’s latest wish in a new interview, revealing his four-year-old son Ben wants “a different dad”.

The 54-year-old “Watch What Happens Live” star, who recently admitted to being “very surprised” at Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s divorce, gave birth to his son Lucy in February 2019 and daughter Lucy in April 2022 via a surrogate mother World.

“I thought, ‘Isn’t that interesting that he knew it was going to be a different father?’ and that he didn’t say, ‘I want a mother. I want you to have a mother.”

Speaking to the publication, the Bravo host was asked if Ben knew all families can look “different.”

‘Yes. He knows that some children have one father, some children have two fathers, some children have two mothers. Some children have a mother and a father. “He knows the whole spectrum,” expressed the star.

Earlier this month, during a visit to the Today show, Andy spoke about raising his two children as a single parent. “I felt a weight around me and a sense of concern that I never really felt.”

“Now I’m wondering what the hell was I worried about?” What was I worried about five years ago? My tea order?’ he explained during the interview. The star listed some parenting concerns on his mind, including “schedule, food, allergies, play dates.”

“There are things on my calendar that I navigate that I’ve never had!” he admitted humorously, later sweetly gushed, “I want to be everything to her.”

“As a single parent, I feel like, ‘I need to be there,’ and I always resent the time I don’t spend with them, trying to figure out what it all means, and seeking advice from friends of my parents,” reads in personality explained to the media.

Despite all the worries and single parents, Cohen honestly admitted, “By the way, I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world.”

The novel focuses on his life as a single parent raising two young children alone. During his appearance on CBS’ Sunday Morning earlier last week, the star admitted, “As a single dad, the only thing I worry about is that I might be everything to them.”

“And I want to be everything to them, and I know how weirdly that’s impossible.” If I spend three hours with Ben and then have to go to work, you’re at work and you’re like, “I’ve had enough today Spent time with Ben?”

Regarding the way being a parent has “changed” him, Andy said, “I think it’s changed me in every way.” My priorities have completely shifted. I think my sense of achievement has completely changed.”

“And even getting your kids breakfast and taking them to school.” When I drop them off at school, I’m like, ‘You did it, dude.’

Last month in April, Andy celebrated his daughter’s first birthday and shared a sweet Instagram snap of him holding Lucy in his arms and holding a large gold balloon with the number one on it as a nod to her age.

In the caption, the talk show host simply wrote to his 5.2million fans and followers, “Happy birthday honey!” followed by a red heart emoji.
