Actor Paulo Betti confronted actress Regina Duarte after she posted on Instagram on Monday 16th a fake message about the Prison Aid, a benefit paid to the relatives of lowincome inmates serving sentences in a closed serve regime.

“Fake! Regina, aren’t you ashamed to get in the way? Weren’t you happy with the vandalism in Brasilia?” the actor asked in the comments.

The publication by Regina, a supporter of former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), says that the Lula government has increased prison money to R$1,754.18, which has not happened so far. Instagram itself also marked the post as false information.

According to Esstadão Verify, the information was distorted by confusing the value of the benefit with the salary cap that a person should have when free so that their loved ones have the right to support during seclusion.
