Ron Perlman, 72, has heaped praise on his new wife Allison Dunbar, 50, calling her “better than me in every way”.
The couple met on the show StartUp and were spotted kissing on a sidewalk in May 2019. It was later revealed that Ron had legally split from his first wife Opal just five days before his public lip encounter with Allison.
Allison and Ron then continued a lockdown romance that led to an Italian wedding last June and an “amazing” current relationship, which she told People is “so funny.”

The blonde bombshell revealed, “We kind of started living together and then there was a pandemic about a month later.”
She explained, “So we figured out very quickly whether we were going to make it or not, like most relationships.”
Allison recalled, “You guys are locked together 24/7 and you only see each other in tracksuits and pajamas.”
She shared, “We moved right into Pasadena when the pandemic hit, and we were like, ‘Is this going to get really lame if we just jump into suburban life?’

Allison, who has worked as a burlesque dancer in addition to being an actress, said: “But we love it. It turned out to be such a good move.’

Five months later, Ron filed for divorce from his first wife Opal Stone, to whom he was married for 38 years and with whom he has two adult children.

Court documents cited by TMZ gave the date of their split as May 10, five days before Ron and Allison were caught making out on the sidewalk.
After they moved in together, insiders told The Sun that Ron was “madly in love” with Allison and that their “passionate relationship” made him “feel younger.”
They tied the knot last June in a former palazzo on a 19th-century hilltop in southern Italy’s Basilicata region.
