Bake Off: The Professionals host Stacey Solomon is REPLACED on the show after just ONE series… and a Ted Lasso star takes over
Stacey Solomon has been replaced as presenter on Bake Off: The Professionals after just one series, it was announced Friday.
It was announced on the official Great British Bake Off Twitter account that Ted Lasso star Ellie Taylor, 39, who appeared on Strictly last year, would step in as presenter alongside Liam Charles and judges Benoit Blin MCA and Cherish Finding.
Ellie plays Sassy on the award-winning Apple TV hit and off her dancing shoes she’s a regular on comedy panel shows with frequent appearances on 8 Out of 10 Cats, QI and Mock the Week.
The tweet reads, “From Ted Lasso to Tiramisu, we’re thrilled to welcome @EllieJaneTaylor as our new co-host on Bake Off: The Professionals alongside @LiamcBakes…”

Stacey, 33, took over from longtime host Tom Allen last year when the comedian stepped down after three years as the show’s host.
Speaking of his exit at the time, Tom said: “I’ve had the best time hosting the Professionals in Sussex alongside my wonderful friend Liam, but now it’s time to move on.”
