Here’s the Celine moment of the week!
Saturday night while he was on the RTL show We’re redoing the TVFrench journalist Stéphane Rotenberg returned to an important meeting he had with Celine Dion while she was going through a difficult ordeal.
In 2016, Rotenberg became the first French presenter to interview Celine Dion following the death of her husband René Angelil earlier that year. The 55-year-old says he was genuinely amazed to see the protocol being drawn up around Charlemagne’s diva.

According to him, the My Heart Will Go On performer “almost never opens a door and never pushes an elevator button.”
“When she arrives, the elevator is open so she doesn’t have to wait.”
He also confided that Celine did not have a cell phone in her possession.
“If she needs one, we bring it to her, she calls. She doesn’t even hang up. She holds out the phone and we hang up for her.
Still, Rotenberg did mention the 54-year-old singer’s authenticity.
“She asks questions, which is rare. She listens to the answer, she creates a moment.”
