Criss Angel stepped in to help defeat a warrior man during one of his recent performances at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
According to a police report obtained by TMZ, a man named Brandon McDonald “was asked to put his phone away but refused to comply.”
Ultimately, an eyewitness explained, “There was an exchange of words and then things eventually escalated to McDonald allegedly throwing punches.”
The attendee went on to tell the outlet that “all hell broke loose when security came to remove the man” and “another ticket holder was attacked after a 'scuffle'.”

At that point, McDonald, who was sitting in the second row, reportedly attempted to “grab a security guard from behind,” prompting Angel to intervene.
The 56-year-old magician (born Christopher Nicholas Sarantakos) is said to have intervened to subdue McDonald and help him out of the theater.
TMZ reported that while McDonald was arrested for assault, Angel continued his show seamlessly.
Angel, one of the most successful illusionists in the world, is best known for his starring roles in the series MINDFREAK and his stage show Criss Angel MINDFREAK LIVE! known. (formerly Criss Angel Believe).
According to Newsweek, it brings “an estimated $150 million per year” into the local Las Vegas economy.
2019 marked the end of his ten-year run at the Luxor before moving to the Criss Angel Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino Las Vegas.

Throughout his career, Angel has received numerous awards, including a Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Brotherhood of Magicians in 2018 and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

When Benson broke the news that Angel had proposed, he shared a video of her looking shocked as Angel slipped a huge engagement ring onto her finger.
