The Dead Rising franchise is very important for gamers, especially Xbox gamers. Unfortunately, the very average Dead Rising 4 has surpassed the future of the license and today we discover many gameplay videos of Dead Rising 5, an episode canceled by Capcom.
Dead Rising reappears
Several images and videos reached us today through the portfolio of a developer who worked on the game. Dead Rising 5 was to be called Dead Rising: Dia De Los Muertes and it marked the return of Chuck Greene, the hero of the second installment.
The game was developed on the Unreal Engine and was obviously set to take place in Mexico City. It mixed city and jungle environments and also had to offer to play two different characters.

It’s inevitably quite sad to see that the Dead Rising franchise is completely absent from the video game landscape today. After the Xbox 360’s heyday, it gradually lost what made it so successful and today doesn’t seem ready to return.
