The legendary singer will host Dolly Parton's Pet Gala, a two-hour variety show featuring a parade of “talented dogs” wearing versions of her most famous outfits. The dogs will also wear items from the star's pet line, Doggy Parton, which she launched in September 2022.

“I have hosted or co-hosted many shows throughout my career, but never have I been more excited to co-host a show than to be a part of this favorite gala,” Dolly Parton said in a statement.

” I love animals. I have all kinds of them and of course I have always had dogs around me, both big and small! There will be all kinds and colors in the show and there is nothing more beautiful for me than watching the little animals doing what they do best,” singer Jolene continued.

The show won't consist entirely of animals! A luxury cast will enrich the program. In fact, the show will also feature performances of some of Dolly Parton's most famous songs by various stars, including Lainey Wilson, Carly Pearce, Chris Janson and KC of KC of the Sunshine Band. They will perform hits like 9 to 5, I Will Always Love You and of course Puppy Love.

The singer will be joined on the show by columnists Kelly Osbourne and Rachel Smith. Jane Lynch will co-host this extraordinary event.

Drew Barrymore, Kristen Bell, Kristin Chenoweth, Neil Patrick Harris and Jessica Simpson will also appear. The show will premiere on February 21 on CBS Network and Paramount+.
