Drake, Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, The Weeknd and Travis Scott were the top five most listened to artists on Spotify in Montreal this year.
The online listening platform unveiled its famous annual “Wrapped” on Wednesday morning, a list that compiles all of the online listening recorded throughout the year. She also revealed the artists, songs, albums and podcasts her listeners listened to the most, revealing that Montrealers had a certain preference for pop, rap and hip-hop, while Quebecers were more into pop, rock and contemporary country seemed to like.

Unsurprisingly, the most listened to song in Montreal in 2023 was Miley Cyrus’s “Flowers,” which hit the airwaves in abundance and marked Quebecers’ summer.

The country song “Last Night” by Morgan Wallen and the Afrobeat-tinged piece “Calm Down” by Rema and Selena Gomez took second and third place on this chart, respectively. I’m Good (Blue) by Bebe Rexha and David Guetta and the cover of Creepin’ by Metro Boomin featuring The Weeknd and 21 Savage complete the top five.
In Canada and Quebec, Flowers remained on the second step of the podium, while Last Night took the lead in most listened to songs of the year.

Kill Bill by SZA (Canada) and Fast Car by Luke Combs (Quebec) took third place.

In Canada, Taylor Swift was the most streamed artist on the Swedish platform, while Drake, Morgan Wallen, The Weeknd and 21 Savage round out the list.

The Joe Rogan Experience, Call Her Daddy and Huberman Lab podcasts were the top three most listened to podcasts on Spotify in Canada.
According to the platform, more than 574 million people worldwide listened to Spotify in 2023.
