A young man’s screams interrupted Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral procession through the streets of Edinburgh.

Yell at Prince Andrew

The royal family escorted Queen Elizabeth’s body in a slow and moving procession to its first public exhibition in St. Giles Cathedral. Behind them an escort of royal guards and senior officers.

The procession was accompanied by the sounds of bagpipes played by the Royal Regiment of Scotland.

At a certain point a scream broke the solemnity: “Andrew, you’re a sick old man!”

Translated: Andrea, you are an old and sick man.

The hint refers to the note Friendship between Prince AndrewDuke of York and brother of King Charles III. and American financier Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide in prison in 2019 after being convicted of sexual abuse and international trafficking of minors.

The procession continued. The newly proclaimed King Charles III chose to ignore the young man’s cries and maintained a regal demeanor.

The friendship between Andrea and Jeffrey Epstein

The long and solid friendship between Andrew of York and Jeffrey Epstein has been widely discussed in the media and has more than embarrassed Queen Elizabeth.

An embarrassment that the crown did not spare on the day of the Queen’s ceremonial funeral.

The young protester was identified and immobilized by a police officer at the end of a short fight. During the fight, the young man kept repeating “disgusting…I’m not doing anything wrong”.

The people around him drowned out his screams and intoned a refrain: “God save the king”.

Police eventually released a brief and sparse statement, explaining that “a 22-year-old man was arrested at 2.50pm on charges of disturbing the peace on the Royal Mile”.

No official uniform for Prince Andrew

A double humiliation for Prince Andrew today: in addition to the screams, the nobleman was banned from wearing the uniform as Epstein was suspended from official posts following the scandal.

However, some sources say the prince could enjoy a waiver of the royal vigil at Westminster Hall.

In military uniform all other children of Queen Elizabeth and King Philip: King Charles, Princess Anne and Prince Edward.

Andrea, unique in civilian attire, however, hasn’t given up pinning his decorations on his chest.
