Tom Holland may be one of Hollywood's most famous actors, but he's not the first in his family to make it big.
The actor's father Dominic, 56, won awards as an acclaimed comedian, writer and presenter long before Tom, 27, appeared as Spiderman.
Dominic has had a long career as a comedian and began performing stand-up at the Comedy Café in London in 1991.
But it was his BBC Four radio show The Small World of Dominic Holland in 2000 that won him a Comic Heritage Award.
And while the couple's relationship is public, some fans are just now realizing that Tom is the descendant of his famous father.
Fans were left in disbelief as Tom Holland's famous dad Dominic exclaimed: 'I didn't think so' (pictured together in 2014)

After an article in People reminded readers of the famous connection, fans took to Twitter to express their disbelief.
One wrote: “Why have I just found out who Tom Holland's father is? I wouldn't have thought that.”
A second commented: “Nepo baby. What a shock.'
A third wrote: “This is the first time I've learned that Tom Holland is Dominic Holland's son and this has messed up my circuits.”
“Right now you could tell me that Billie Eilish's father is Steve Punt and I would believe you.” Dua Lipa? Dr. Phil Hammond. Harry Styles? Junior Simpson.'
But another defended Tom against the nepo-baby argument, joking: “If anything he nepotizes everyone else in his family.”
Dominic is also the creator of the current Amazon comedy special “Dominic Holland: The Glory Years.”
The synopsis reads: “Just your normal, down-to-earth Hollywood dad, Dom's son Tom as the newest Spider-Man (annoyingly) does all the high-flying for him,” while the father mocks his son's increasing fame.

“How does a kid named Tom Holland, who never had a speaking role in a school play, end up playing Marvel's Peter Parker?” the bio quips.
The comedian previously revealed how much he's there to keep his son grounded, telling the Chron's Emily Prescott: “I reckon 99 per cent of celebrities are completely interchangeable.” I remind Tom of that often !'
Tom's parents Dominic and photographer Nikki met at the University of Leeds, where they both studied, married and had four sons, Tom, Paddy, 19, and twins Harry and Sam, 24.
Harry made small cameo appearances in his brother's films Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home, but unfortunately his scene in the latter was cut.

Speaking about his siblings' busy day filming the entire sequence upside down, Tom joked about their argument on the set of The Graham Norton Show.
“We’ve cast Harry and he’s on set,” Tom said. “I go to the stunt coordinator and say, 'Please just do whatever you do with the stunt so that it's upside down.'
He joked that the “icing on the cake” came when he saw the finished film and Harry's scene was nowhere to be found.
“I don't think he really knows…they cut the scene out,” he said. “That’s not in the movie!”
