LAVAL | A 30-year-old who suffers from mental health problems is said to have stabbed his father in Laval on the night of Sunday to Monday.
Mohamed Reda Ajaba is due to appear at the Laval courthouse this afternoon to answer for the horrific acts he allegedly committed last night.

Shortly before 3:30 a.m., the 32-year-old man is said to have stabbed his 66-year-old father, Abdelhak Ajaba, in the middle of the street in front of his home on Place Robin in Laval-des-rapides.
According to our information, a neighbor witnessed the sad scene.
The sixty-year-old, who worked primarily as an administrator of the Cible Retour à l'emploi organization, unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
The bladed weapon believed to have been used to commit the murder, a knife, was found at the crime scene. The suspect was also arrested at the scene.
However, according to our information, he had been admitted to hospital for mental health problems just three days ago.
The victim reportedly told authorities that her son had not left his room or washed in two weeks, they say.
This is the first murder of the year in the Laval City Police Department area and is currently under investigation.
Place Robin is currently blocked by a security perimeter.
