Five dead in train accident in northern Italy news

A train ran over and killed five people during work on the route between Milan and Turin. Two more people were injured last night in the accident that occurred in the municipality of Brandizzo, in northern Italy, which is part of the metropolitan area of ​​Turin. Network company RFI said in a press release that maintenance work was carried out by an external contractor. Rail traffic on the Turin – Milan route was interrupted. The accident occurred in the community of Brandizzo, with 9,000 inhabitants, 20 kilometers from Turin.
