The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra still has a bright future ahead of it. It is a smartphone that was launched just over a year ago and offers the best of 2022. Its technical data sheet is therefore far from outdated today, starting with its excellent 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with a maximum resolution of 3080 x 1440 pixels and an adaptive display refresh rate from 10 to 120 Hz. Everything is fine-tuned to to provide a visual experience that truly flatters the retina. On the photography side, you won’t regret anything with the 108 + 12 + 10 + 10 megapixel quadruple sensor that offers excellent photo quality and, above all, versatility like we rarely see, including ultra wide angle mode, portrait mode and zooms up to 100 megapixels x100 (digital, but up to x10 optical) or even the ability to record videos up to 8K.
So yes, it doesn’t have the 200-megapixel sensor or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 of the S23 Ultra, but the possible uses are already above the rest compared to many other premium smartphones on the market. In addition, its Exynos 2200 offers with 12 GB of RAM still a very good performance in 2023, as it can play most 3D games in ultra quality and multitasking without any concerns. Well, the power optimizations are not as thorough as a Qualcomm chip, but the autonomy remains correct even with a good day under the clock.
