Passenger Michael Rutherford, 43, defends the kind gesture of a Singapore Airlines flight attendant who fed his fiveyearold son during a flight. The images of the flight attendant on her knees feeding the boy outraged some people on social media, but the father decided to speak out about the incident.
As the NY Post article reports, despite criticism suggesting “spoiled” behavior from Rutherford and his son Jett, the father said the flight attendant provided “incredible service” and helped the child have a “good trip.” . He emphasized that the flight attendant was the “kindest, kindest person.”
Rutherford explained that the flight attendant offered to help and talk to Jett, an invitation which he accepted. The father appreciated Singapore Airlines' service culture, describing it as “amazing”.
In fact, an airline representative told the press that the company was “happy” to witness the warm service offered by the team to the father and son and hopes to “welcome them back on board soon.”
