Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen's mother has died of complications from cancer, according to local reports.
Vânia Nonnenmacher, 75, died on Sunday at the Moinhos de Vento Hospital in Porto Alegre. Brazilian broadcaster GZH was the first to report her death.
Nonnenmacher was a retired banker who formerly worked at Banco do Brasil. She was of German descent and had Brazilian nationality.
The 75-year-old had six daughters with university professor Valdir Bündchen: Gisele, Patrícia, Rafaela, Raquel, Graziela and Gabriela.

A wake followed by a farewell ceremony is planned for Monday morning in Porto Alegre
The family lived in Horizontina, Rio Grande do Sul, where the former Victoria's Secret Angel was born.
A wake is planned for Monday morning at the Ecumenical Chapel of the Metropolitan Crematorium in Porto Alegre. A farewell ceremony will then take place.
Bündchen has yet to comment on the death of her mother, with whom she appeared on the cover of Vogue Brasil in 2018.
Most recently, she published a series of photos with Nonnenmacher in July 2022 to commemorate her 73rd birthday.

They met on a blind date in 2006, married three years later and started a blended family with Brady's son Jack.
Speaking to Harper's Bazaar, Bündchen revealed that she and her ex-husband have different approaches to parenting, a point that occasionally causes tension.
“Sometimes I get resistance, especially because they live in two different houses now and there are two different paths,” the model explained.
“But I feel like I owe it to my children because of what my mother taught me.”
