“At the moment, commitment is not synonymous with delivery.” Half of the Western weapons promised to Ukraine will be delivered late, the Ukrainian defense minister said on Sunday, February 25. Because of these delays, “we would lose people, we would lose territories,” Roustem Oumerov added during a forum marking the second anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Ukrainian army is facing an extremely difficult situation at the front. Therefore, the Ukrainian president asked his allies for military assistance and demanded “on-time” delivery.
