Kirill Kaprizov was spectacular as the Minnesota Wild beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-2 in overtime on Sunday afternoon at the Xcel Energy Center.

The Russian forward has achieved all the achievements of his team. He started his productive day early in the third period when his team was 2-0 down.
Kaprizov defeated goaltender Elvis Merzlikins by redirecting a shot from the point. Less than five minutes later, the star player used a power play to level the game. In overtime, the hero of the day finished the job by completing a game of tic-tac-toe orchestrated by Calen Addison and Mats Zuccarello.
It was the second time Kaprizov had scored a hat trick in the National League after scoring three times against the Arizona Coyotes on March 12, 2021. It was also the sixth time the skater had scored more than one goal in a game of the season.
