Holly Hagan gives birth to a child! Geordie Shore star welcomes baby boy with husband Jacob Blythe and admits she ‘couldn’t have asked for a better birthing experience’
Holly Hagan has given birth to her first child with husband Jacob Blythe.
The Geordie Shore star confirmed the news in an Instagram post Monday night shortly after giving birth to their child in Greater Manchester.
In a quick post, she wrote, “Here it is!” We’re doing great. There will be a little hospital update on my blog tomorrow morning.
“A big thank you to the incredible staff at Wythenshawe Hospital.” I couldn’t have asked for a better birthing experience. I’m just enjoying our little baby bubble.’
Holly announced in January she was giving birth to her first child, six months after marrying National League footballer Jacob in Ibiza over the summer.
Announcing the news in an exclusive video with OK! Holly told Jacob, “Your patience, strength and resilience inspire me every day and I couldn’t imagine a strong role model for our future children.”

The video then showed Jacob unwrapping a gift that contained a positive pregnancy test, prompting a shocked reaction from the footballer.
The following month, Holly announced she was expecting a son after filming the gender reveal and Geordie Shore’s second wedding together.
At the event, Holly and her husband made sure no expense was spared with their announcement – complete with giant glowing letters, gorgeous flowers, a photo booth and a stunning cake.
Holly has updated her fans about her pregnancy and revealed that she has chosen an unusual nickname for her unborn child.
When a fan asked if she’d picked a name during an Instagram Q&A, Holly wrote, “We’ve only ever had one name from the start and it was a boy’s name.”
“I’ve never thought about a girl’s name because I only knew it was a boy.” I’m in love with the name.
“It’s unusual, but after you’ve said it a few times, you’ll wonder why that name isn’t a more common name?”
Holly also revealed what she found most difficult about her pregnancy.
The star said she was used to keeping moving but needed to rest more while carrying her baby.
She explained, “Probably the lack of energy!” I’m so used to being active and just feel so lazy and useless!
“I can barely make it to the fridge and back, and there are women who work 13-hour shifts all day and can’t go on maternity leave until the last minute.”
“I don’t think I really understood the sacrifice until I was pregnant myself.”

While the majority of Holly’s followers supported her on her journey to pregnancy, she experienced bump shaming at the hands of trolls.
Holly revealed that she had been told to “wear a little extra to protect the tummy” to which she replied: “I’m sorry but no clothes will ‘protect’ my tummy.
“Unless there is a wearable airbag that I’m supposed to wear for 9 months, please enlighten me.”
She had previously joked about the size of her stomach as her abs were still clearly visible at five months old.
