Heartthrob from Mulheres Apaixonadas, soap opera reaired on Globo, lives out of the limelight in the usual way these days
Mulheres Apaixonadas is back on the small screens of Globo, the storyline replacing O Rei do Gado which ended last Friday in Vale a Pena Ver de Novo.
The soap opera starred several notable actors and actresses, but most notably a heartthrob, a promise of success for Globo, who these days lives away from the limelight.
We’re talking about actor Erik Marmo, who currently lives in the United States with his family but found recognition back then through his work at Globo.
Erik Marmo has been living in the US since 2014 and revealed in an interview that he wants to adjust to his new life while his wife works as an arranger and he delivers the flowers.

In “Mulheres Apaixonadas” 20 years ago, the heartthrob played Cláudio, Edwiges’ friend, played by Carolina Dieckmann. In the story, the romance is put to the test with the arrival of Cutie (Carol Castro). Her beauty and professionalism meant that the telenovela was marked by her performances.

How is Erik Marmo today?
The heartthrob gave an interview to Gshow and said he turned to life there in the United States. Besides working as a delivery man helping his wife, he is also an actor, presenter, voice actor, producer, video maker and even became a football coach.
“As an actor, I’ve had roles in ‘The Purge’ and ‘Animal Kingdom.’ I made a short film, Alexis, which received 12 awards at the Indie Short Fest, including best cast. Bittersweet, where I play a lawyer, is coming out soon.”
