In coordination with Israeli forces, U.S. Central Command and the Royal Jordanian Air Force conducted a joint airdrop of humanitarian aid to Gaza. This was reported by the Israeli Defense Forces. In recent weeks, more than 450 packages of food and medical aid have been distributed through 21 airdrops in the Gaza Strip, in collaboration and coordination with several countries (Jordan, France, United Arab Emirates and Egypt). On Saturday March 2nd alone, three planes dropped 66 packages containing around 38,000 meals into Gaza. The aid is being coordinated with Jordan, which in turn has carried out airdrops to deliver food to the Gaza Strip. IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said: “We will continue to expand our humanitarian efforts for the civilian population of Gaza as we achieve our goals of freeing our hostages from Hamas and liberating Gaza from Hamas.”
