It's time to party like it's 1989! The Melbourne hotel is launching special Taylor Swift-inspired cocktails to celebrate her Aussie Eras tour

It seems the whole of Australia is getting into the Taylor Swift spirit ahead of her highly anticipated Eras tour down under.

And now a Melbourne hotel has launched a special drinks menu inspired by the pop star so guests can “party like it's 1989”.

This week only, Ovolo Hotel South Yarra is serving six different delicious cocktails and mocktails.

Topping the signature list is “French Blondie (Taylor Swift’s Version),” a blend of London Dry Gin, Lillet Blanc, St Germain and grapefruit juice, rounded off with grapefruit peel.

Meanwhile, 'Champagne Problems' features a refreshing blend of French champagne, elderflower liqueur, soda water and a sprinkle of gold edible glitter.

It seems the whole of Australia is getting into the Taylor Swift spirit ahead of her highly-anticipated Era tour Down Under, and now a Melbourne hotel has launched a special drinks menu inspired by the pop star so guests can “party like I did.” Year 1989”.

For something fruitier, guests can enjoy a “Swift-Jito” with white rum, lime, simple syrup, watermelon and mint leaves.

And to “Shake It Off” with something non-alcoholic, there's a berry drink named after her Taylor's hit, with NON 3, raspberry syrup, lime juice, simple syrup, Fever Tree elderflower tonic and thyme spring, lemon peel and raspberries.

Two other mocktails, Cruel Summer non-Spritz and Lavender Haze, are also on the list.

All drinks are available from February 12th to 17th at Lona Misa South Yarra, Backroom South Yarra and Amphlett House CBD.

Lona Misa Restaurant at Ovolo in South Yarra is one of the few hotels in the world to offer a Latin American, vegan and vegetarian only menu.

The kitchen is led by Melbourne chefs Shannon Martinez and Ian Curley.

Signature dishes include braised lamb barbacoa tostadas, tacu tacu – slow-roasted eggplant, panela and enchilada sauces, and moqueca – a Brazilian seafood stew.

Rooms at the hotel now cost more than $205 a night, with guests able to choose between Go Go Snug, Boogie and Groovy rooms, and for a bit more space, Rock Star suites are available .

The Ovolo Group was founded by entrepreneur Girish Jhunjhnuwala and Ovolo Hotels has quickly become one of the most popular hotel chains in Hong Kong and Australia.

Ovolo South Yarra's vibe is bold, creative and unapologetically retro, drawing on the era of disco, rock gods and retro glamour.

Taylor brings her Eras tour to Melbourne at the Melbourne Cricket Ground from February 16-18 before traveling to Sydney for four shows at Accor Stadium from February 23-26.
