“I was burned out, I was tired, I had a lot of guarding and I felt a lot of guilt […] come out there [le tournage de Mégantic], what touches man is like hurry, I have a life! After that I don’t have a chance. If something happens I’ll live it at 100mph,” she added.

Sophie Lorain, who produced the eight episodes of Mégantic, gently approached the relationship between the people of Mégantic, who were scarred by the grief and trauma of the drama, and the film crew. She explained that she asked those who wanted to take part in the filming as extras.

She added the importance of doing the series well, which is basically a tribute to the people of Lac-Mégantic.

Megantic will be available from Club illico on February 9th.
