According to the Ukrainian military, Russia began a large-scale airstrike on Monday morning during rush hour.
The Ukrainian military said several regions of Ukraine were affected. There is air alert throughout the country. “Kiev – protect yourselves!” writes the Air Force on the Telegram short message service. The capital is exposed to the threat of ballistic missiles.
The cities of Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Khmelnytskyi were also exposed to a “massive rocket attack” by the Russian armed forces, the military in the respective cities said.
Ukrainian media reported explosions around the city of Dnipro in southeastern Ukraine. According to observers, nearly a dozen strategic bombers fired cruise missiles at targets in Ukraine. Kinschal (Dagger) hypersonic missiles are also in use.
