The new Emmanuel

Léa Seydoux rose to prominence in 2008 for her role in La belle personne and has been shooting in France and Europe for several years. In the coming months, she will play the mythical character of Emmanuelle in a new version of the erotic novel of the same name, which will be directed by French filmmaker Audrey Diwan (The Event).

“It will be very different and will have nothing to do with the Emmanuelle films shot in the past, the actress specifies. It really will be an Emmanuelle of the year 2023. There will be eroticism, but it will be approached through a female prism and from her own point of view.
