She starred on Love Island in 2019.

And Amy Hart revealed some of the behind-the-scenes secrets of the ITV dating series on Saturday as she answered a question and answer for her followers.

The former stewardess, 30, who is pregnant with her first child, was asked by a fan what the girls do when they get their periods at the villa.

She replied, “I’ve heard that so many times. I don’t really understand what you are thinking what I’m going to say like we’re segregated in another room and only allowed to wear black bikinis.

“We’re just carrying on like you would when you’re on vacation.

“Personally, I folded my pill packs because I didn’t want a period while I was there, and the doctor said, ‘Yeah, that’s not going to work,’ and I said, ‘It will, it will.’ And it worked… until it didn’t work anymore.

“But yeah, you just keep going.”

Amy captioned the video: “I understand everyone is different and they would certainly make concessions, I was just speaking about my experience and meaning we weren’t banned.”

She also gave a glimpse of how much they’re allowed to drink at the villa.

She explained: “It’s one drink on a normal night and then two drinks if it’s a long night.

“A lot of us ended up not drinking because what’s the point of having a glass?

“Some nights we’d just be like, ‘Let’s get drunk,’ if it was a stressful day or whatever. But when there’s a big riot, I’d always be like, ‘Imagine that with a sip of alcohol’, so I didn’t really mind, nor did I have a hangover, which was good.’

It comes after pregnant Amy revealed her unborn child is in the back-to-back position but asked followers not to send her “horror stories”.

The TV personality – who starred in the 2019 series of the hit ITV2 show – is expecting her first child with boyfriend Sam Rason.

But now that it’s hit 40 weeks, Amy, who is preparing for labor, said the baby has turned.

A back-to-back position is where the baby has his head down but the back of his head and back are against the spine.

On Thursday, Amy took to her Instagram Stories and gave fans the latest on her pregnancy.

She said: “Baby is not breech. Baby’s head down but back to back.

“I know back-to-back is painful, but I put on my protective cloak in front of my underbirth.

“Please don’t send me tons of horror stories about back-to-back work, I just approach it with a positive attitude.”

“How painful can it be?

“People go back for seconds, thirds, quarters. So yeah, please don’t burst my bubble.

“But yeah, I’m just trying to flip the baby — but right now I can feel one thing — so I think hopefully it’s flipped.”

It came after Amy hit back at trolls who accused her of editing her pregnancy photos while counting down the days until the birth of her first child.

Amy took to her Instagram Stories on Monday to reveal that she had been accused of “airbrushing” a series of baby bump pictures.

Amy had shared a series of stunning snaps from a recent photoshoot that showed her cradling her growing baby bump while celebrating 37 weeks pregnant.

But she turned to her stories just hours after sharing the glowing pics to reveal she had been accused of “airbrushing” her face.

The troll wrote: “Too bad you airbrushed yourself as it is not needed and should be beautiful natural photos.”

Amy quickly hit back at the claims, insisting she hadn’t airbrushed or applied filters to her images, saying it was just the results of a “beautifully lit studio.”

But Amy admitted she too thought her photos might have been edited when she first received them, before zooming in and seeing her “skin texture”.

She wrote: “I knew this was going to happen as soon as I got them sent. Because my first thought was, oh, my face was being worked on. But I zoomed in and saw my forehead lines and skin texture and I was like, Oh, OK!

“@Sorchamakeupartist literally makes my face look like it has a filter on and obviously it was shot in a beautifully lit studio.”
