Brazil’s presidential candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has slightly extended his lead over President Jair Bolsonaro ahead of Sunday’s elections, according to the latest polls.
In a first round of elections scheduled for Oct. 2, former President Lula would capture 48% of voter support, compared to 31% for Bolsonaro, compared to 47% and 31%, respectively, they received in the same poll a week ago had. , showed data from the Ipec survey released on Monday.
