wow ! It wasn’t four years before a new Mac mini came out. Not only does the Mac mini M2 take up the torch just two years after the Mac mini M1, but it is accompanied by a model that comes with an M2 Pro chip. If the Mac mini with the M2 chip is a 24-inch iMac without a display, the Mac mini with the M2 Pro chip can be compared in performance to the 14-inch MacBook Pro… and in price to the Mac Studio! Is that quite reasonable? Which model to choose? The answer in our review of the Mac mini M2 and M2 Pro.

M2: the Mac mini mini
Nihil novi sub sole, “more of the same”, “the more it changes, the more it’s the same”… say it in the language you want, the fact is that nothing looks more like a Mac mini than another Mac mini. Like all of its predecessors produced since June 2010, the Mac mini M2 is a rounded-corner block of aluminum, 19.7 cm square and 3.6 cm thick. The format has proven itself, as has the chip, since we discovered it with the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro 13″.
