It only took Madonna about an hour and 15 minutes to sell almost all of the tickets for her two concerts at the Bell Center, scheduled for August 19 and 20.

The ticket sale, which was announced for this Friday at 10:00 a.m., ended at around 11:15 a.m. Advance sales for the concert on August 19 began two days ago.
On the Ticketmaster ticketing website, prices for tickets for the Saturday concert at around 10:15 a.m. ranged from $136 to $832. But around 10:35 a.m. they were between $320 and $1,342. All available tickets are then “Resale Tickets”.
At around 11:15 a.m., the few available seats for Saturday 19 were nearly $1,500 per ticket. Essentially VIP packages and platinum tickets reserved for companies. There were only a few seats left for Sunday the 20th (at $641 per ticket).
Madonna, 64, will begin her North American tour called The Celebration Tour in Vancouver on July 15 before performing in several American cities. She will return to the country in Toronto on August 13 before settling in Montreal for two days (August 19 and 20) and heading to New York (August 23 and 24).
The Material Girl’s European tour kicks off in London on October 14th and ends in Amsterdam on December 1st. Altogether we are talking about 24 North American and 11 European cities. Madonna’s last visit to Montreal was on September 9, 2015 for her album Rebel Heart tour.
