Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni reunite at the Law & Order Premiere Event in New York City
Just days before an unprecedented three-hour premiere event, the stars of all three Law & Order shows converged in New York City, including Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni.
Hargitay, 58, and Meloni, 61, reunited on the red carpet at the premiere event at the Capitale in New York City.
The unprecedented three-hour televised event — featuring the returning flagship series Law & Order, the long-running Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order: Organized Crime — will air Thursday, September 22 from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m p.m. aired on NBC.

Hargitay appeared on Monday’s red carpet wearing a white top underneath a light purple top.
She also opted for light blue wide-leg jeans, with her auburn locks falling just below her shoulders.
The actress completed her look with a pair of tan heels as she walked the red carpet on Monday night.

Her longtime co-star Meloni appeared in a lime green shirt underneath a dark gray suit coat.
He rocked a pair of matching charcoal pants and completed his look with black dress shoes.
He also posed with Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Ice-T and Universal Studio Group chair Pearlena Igbokwe.

NBC announced in August that the casts of Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order: Organized Crime will be held in a three-hour premiere event.
The three hour event begins with a mysterious young girl being shot dead in cold blood and Detective Frank Cosgrove (Jeffrey Donovan) teams with Detective Jalen Shaw (Mehcad Brooks) to track down her killer.
Captain Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) are called to the rescue when they realize they are dealing with more than a typical murder case.

Following the premiere event, Law & Order will air Thursday at 8 p.m., followed by Law & Order: Special Victims Unit at 9 p.m. and Law & Order: Organized Crime at 10 p.m.
The original flagship Law & Order returns this year for its 21st season, 12 years after it was summarily canceled in 2010.
