Maroon 5 is confirmed among the attractions of The Town, the new festival in SP Splash

The Town Festival, from the same makers of Rock in Rio, confirmed another international attraction. Following the announcement of the band Foo Fighters, the organization said that Maroon 5 will also be performing at the event.

The festival will take place on September 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 9th and 10th at the Interlagos circuit in São Paulo.

The US band, known around the world and led by singer Adam Levine, will close on the night of September 7th. The group collects hits in the repertoire, such as “Girls Like You”, “Sugar”, “Animals”, “Payphone”, “She Will Be Loved”.

The municipal organization also announced that the singer Jão will be one of the attractions of The One stage on the night of September 10th.

The festival introduces the Town Card, which is equivalent to a lawn ticket where the audience must choose the date they want to go later and guarantees entry to the event even before all bands and attractions are confirmed.

Where does the city festival take place? The festival takes place at the Interlagos circuit, which is also where Lollapalooza takes place. The forecast is that The Town will bring 500,000 people to the venue over the five days of the festival.

Which attractions have already been announced? So far, the following names have been confirmed for The Town: Foo Fighters (9th), Ludmilla (7th), Iza and Criolo (no firm date).

Can I already buy tickets? Sales start on March 14th at 7:00 p.m.

The choice of the festival day to which the fan would like to go must be made at least 24 hours before the official ticket sale. After this date, to be announced, selection will depend on ticket availability.

Tickets are only sold online. via Ticketmaster Brasil (thetown.ticketmaster.com.br). The Town Card costs BRL 770.00 (full ticket) and BRL 385.00 (half ticket). There is no convenience fee. As supplies are limited, the purchase limit is up to 4 (four) tickets per CPF, maximum half price.

What will the stages look like?

The city will have five phases:

  • Horizon: the largest stage of the festival, inspired by the buildings of São Paulo
  • The one: will hold concerts with exclusive content of the festival, dedicated bands and new artists
  • New dance order: dedicated to the genres house, techno, trance, bass and trap
  • Factory: Inspired by old factory buildings, there are street dance performances and trap, hip hop and rap shows
  • Sao Paulo Square: It focuses on jazz and blues and is inspired by historic buildings in the city of São Paulo such as the Sé Cathedral, Luz Train Station and the Municipal Theater
