Liberal MP Marwah Rizqy, considered by many to be her party's aspiring leader, has finally accomplished one of her personal projects: She is pregnant with a second child.

Ms Rizqy announced her pregnancy in an interview with Le Journal de Québec and confirmed it on the X network on Wednesday morning.
The MP shared the article and wanted to send a message of hope to all women who, like her, are struggling to have a child.
“Your family project is more than legitimate. The journey can be tiring and I wish you with all my heart that you enjoy your little happiness soon,” she wrote.
She also thanked her medical team.
As with her first baby, Gabriel, who is 14 months old, Ms Rizqy had to visit a fertility clinic for this second pregnancy.
According to Le Journal de Québec, she is expecting her second child at the end of June. Marwah Rizqy is married to her colleague, Jacques-Cartier Liberal MP Gregory Kelley.
This news appears to put an end to his thoughts about the next race for the leadership of the Quebec Liberal Party (PLQ). In recent months, the Saint-Laurent member admitted she was “torn” about the idea of running, but she finally closed the door in September.

However, in an interview with the daily Quebecor, she did not rule out running for the leadership of her party when her children are older.
Currently, the candidates are not rushing to the gate to present themselves in the race for the leadership of the PLQ. The latest news was that Marguerite-Bourgeoys Liberal MP Frédéric Beauchemin and federal Liberal MP Joël Lightbound were in talks.
