Mike Tindall has revealed he now calls Prince William “Five Martinis Willy” after joking that his wife's cousin was “not the best drinker”.
The former rugby player, 45, told the Metro that Prince William had recently improved his alcohol tolerance.
Last year, Zara Tindall's husband said during an appearance on Rob Burrow's podcast that the royal was known as “One Pint Willy.”
Mike said: “To be fair, the name Willy has been outdated for a few years and we've given it a bit of training.”
'He can do more than a pint now.' 'We call him five martinis Willy now.' I think he cares that he can drink more than just a pint.'

Last month, Price William revealed that Mike Tindall had apologized to him for revealing the funny nickname on the podcast.
William spoke to rugby legend Rob Burrow, 41, ahead of an official ceremony where the athlete and motor neurone disease campaigner was presented with his CBE at Headingly Stadium.

He continued: “Mike told me some secrets which the children found very amusing.”
William, who smiled and shook his head knowingly, replied, “I think those might be some of the nicknames. 'Did you get the nicknames out of him?'
The prince said to Rob, “He apologized to me for that.” I said, “Mike, if you say you won't mention anyone's nicknames, that doesn't mean you can mention my nickname. That's not fair.”
In December 2023, the former England rugby star admitted that he and his wife Zara call each other “Munchkin”, while her husband has a nickname saved in their phone that ends in “Kitten”.
The Tindalls made the revelations in a special podcast with rugby league legend Rob Burrow, who is battling motor neurone disease.

When Burrow asked if he had any nicknames for any of the royals, Mike replied: “For the Prince of Wales he's known as One Pint Willy.”
“He's known to me as One Pint Willy because he's not the best drinker, coming from a sport where the social aspect is key and where a few pints are consumed quite often.” That's one thing I will give it away for the Prince of Wales.'
Zara can be heard laughing before saying: 'Oh my God.' You're in so much trouble.'
Burrow also asked the couple if they had any pet names for each other.
Mike says: “We basically call each other munchkins a lot.” I don't know why that started, but it stuck.
“I'll let Zara decide if she wants to reveal what I stored in her phone as…”
Mike also admits that he dreams of his two-year-old son Lucas becoming a professional golfer – and that he wanted to give him the middle name “Mulligan”.
“The two-year-old is the place where I realize my dreams,” says the 2003 Rugby World Cup winner.
“I actually wanted his middle name to be Mulligan because if he became a professional golfer he would give up Lucas and just be called Mulligan Tindall.
Mike Tindall made expansive comments in the podcast – to the dismay of his wife Zara!
Zara took part alongside Mike and commented that he was “in so much trouble” after he came out with the comment “A pint of Willy”.

Zara replies, “He's in my phone as something else and it ends with kittens.”
“I thought it was the best golf name ever.” Plus, “Mulligan” means the offspring of a balding man, so it was perfect!'
Burrow tells the Tindalls that he has always wanted to deliver the Alternative Christmas Message, which airs on Channel 4 at the same time as the King's Christmas Message on the BBC.
Zara says: “I definitely think you could give the other Christmas speech.” You would definitely rock it and be a huge inspiration to a lot of people.
“I'm sure (King Charles) would just let you do your own thing.” I hope to see that sometime. I think you just record it and send it out anyway!'
