Naomi also executive produced the “original Housewives” story, which centered on acclaimed writer Truman Capote's (Tom Hollander) betrayal of his celebrity “Swan” girlfriends in 1976 after Esquire published chapters from his unfinished novel Answered Prayers had.

The consequences are depicted in showrunner Jon Robin Baitz's 2021 small-screen adaptation of Laurence Leamer's book Capote's Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and a Swan Song for an Era.

Feud: Capote and The Swans also stars Demi Moore, Calista Flockhart, Diane Lane, Chloë Sevigny, Jessica Lange, Joe Mantello, Molly Ringwald, Russell Tovey Pawel Szajda, Yuval David, Scott Zimmerman, Jeffrey Grover and the late Treat Williams.

All eight episodes were directed by two-time Oscar nominee Gus Van Sant (“To Die For,” “Good Will Hunting,” “Drugstore Cowboy”).
