Edmonton Oilers star Connor McDavid had an exceptional night in his team's 8-4 victory over the Detroit Red Wings at Rogers Place on Tuesday.
In fact, the Alberta team captain collected six assists. From the 44th second of the final period, McDavid was involved in Dylan Holloway's goal, which put the Oilers back in the lead.

Kris Knoblauch's men caused the red light to flash five times in the third period, with McDavid involved in four of those successes. In addition to Holloway, Leon Draisaitl, Zach Hyman, Evander Kane, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (twice), Evan Bouchard and Cody Ceci also scored for the local favorites.
Patrick Kane, David Perron, Alex DeBrincat and Joe Veleno answered visitors' questions.
The Oilers are third in the Pacific Division with a record of 31-17-1. The Red Wings are in the second tier of drafted teams in the Eastern Conference.
