Orban for eXXpress: "The current political system in Europe will collapse."

Vienna (OTS) – Part 2 of the eXXpress interview with Viktor Orban: The Prime Minister of Hungary is convinced that the current political system in Europe will collapse in this decade. And when asked if he is still in favor of Hungary remaining in the EU, Orban says: “Definitely not. But we have to.”

“Normal people with normal views should not stay in the EU. The gap is growing, the alienation between Hungary and the EU is progressing”, analyzed the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban (59) in an exclusive conversation for journalists present at the current congress of the Mathias Corvinus Collegium – including the editor-in-chief of the eXXpress Richard Schmitt – the current European situation.

Orban speaks openly – see part 1 – about the current conflict situation between Europe and Russia. But he also assesses the situation in the European Union with surprising clarity: “I know what the French and German heads of government are talking about: more migration. And about gender. We Hungarians have a traditional family model – but they are so different.” And Orban emphasizes again and again: “They want the ‘United States of Europe’ – we certainly don’t.”
