Paris Hilton has been open about her decision to have an abortion when she was in her 20s.

In a recent interview with Glamor UK, the star revealed that she hasn’t been willing to speak publicly about her experience as abortion is stigmatized.
“It was also something I didn’t want to talk about because there was so much shame about it,” she told the magazine. “I was a kid and I wasn’t ready for it. »
Following the US Supreme Court’s decision to dismiss the landmark case of Roe v. Wade, who guaranteed an abortion for up to six weeks in June 2022, the 42-year-old star feels compelled to use her notoriety to publicly address the issue and support women’s rights.
