Pierre Francois Legendre was at La Semaine des 4 Julie on February 16th and spoke about the health of her son who suffers from epilepsy.
A moment as touching as needed to demystify the disease.
“You have a 14-year-old son named Elliott and are you okay with talking about seizures?” the host asked Julie Snyder.
“In fact, he has had epilepsy for a very long time. He had absence epilepsy. Then we said: It should start at the age of 12 or 13. But his neurologist had also warned us that it could turn into an epileptic seizure as we know it, the real one, the frightening one, that of Caleb’s daughters,” explains Pierre-François Legendre if it doesn’t go away.
He also points out that a recent crisis took place about a month and a half ago.
“We sat at the table at dinner and then saw him leave, which is very impressive. It is mismanaged electricity between the synapses of the brain, it is nothing else. There’s still a way, not taboo, but still prejudice about it,” he says.
Pierre-François concludes that according to the doctor it could be the last crisis since his son is responding very well to the medication!
